How to reset Magic Mouse 1 & 2
To reset Magic Mouse 1 or 2, you will need a MacBook Pro so you can connect the mouse to the iMac.
If you have an Apple TV, you can use AirPlay to control your Mac from another wireless device like your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. The Apple TV icon will appear in the menu bar.
If not, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth. Click on “Show Bluetooth in Menu Bar”.
Next, select Factory Reset to remove all connected devices.
Your Magic Mouse and keyboard should return to their original factory settings.

How to reset Magic Mouse name

Solve contact problems

The best place to store your charger is a sturdy clip or bracket.
For a Magic Mouse that uses external batteries, fold a small piece of foil into a square and place it on the positive end of each battery.
Turn the mouse back on and put the batteries back in.
Batteries low
It may be because the batteries are low or the device needs charging.

Replace the old batteries
Remove and replace them with new ones. For rechargeable batteries, the Magic Mouse is usually selective about the type of batteries being used because of the form factor where they sit.
